Whisper Health - Child Safety Policy

Whisper Health is committed to creating a safe and positive environment for all our users. We have a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This page outlines our standards and practices to prevent, detect, and respond to CSAE on our platform.

Our Commitment

We are dedicated to protecting children from harm. We prohibit any content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children. Our policies are designed to comply with all applicable laws and regulations concerning child safety.

Defining Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)

In line with global standards, we define CSAE as any content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Grooming a child for sexual exploitation.
  • Sextorting a child.
  • Trafficking a child for sexual purposes.
  • Any other form of sexual exploitation or abuse of a child.

This also includes any content that constitutes Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), which is any visual depiction of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct.

Prohibited Content and Conduct

We strictly prohibit any activity on Whisper Health that facilitates or engages in CSAE. This includes:

  • Creating, sharing, distributing, or soliciting CSAM.
  • “Grooming,” or attempting to establish an inappropriate relationship with a minor.
  • Any form of communication that sexually exploits or endangers a child.

Violations of this policy will result in immediate and permanent termination of the user’s account.

Moderation and Enforcement

We use a combination of automated detection tools and trained human moderators to identify and remove content that violates our child safety policies. We are committed to taking swift and decisive action.

When we become aware of a potential violation, we will:

  • Immediately remove the violating content.
  • Suspend or permanently ban the responsible user account.
  • Report the content and associated user information to relevant law enforcement authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), as required by law.

How to Report

We encourage our users to report any content or behavior that they suspect violates our child safety standards. You can report concerns directly within the app using our reporting tools. All reports are confidential and are reviewed by our safety team.

If you encounter content that you believe involves child endangerment, please report it to us and contact your local law enforcement agency immediately.

Whisper Health is committed to complying with all applicable child safety laws, including reporting obligations. We work with law enforcement and other organizations to combat the spread of CSAE.
